hugo espirito santo

Hugo Espirito Santo was born in Lisbon, Portugal, in the spring of 1993. HE currently lives and works in Paris, FRANCE. Although he has always been passionate about different forms of art, he was particularly drawn to abstract expressionism and the pouring technique, and began developing his own works in 2020. through ethereal sounds and acrylic paint, the focus is to explore ideas of fluid movement, while creating abstract and non-linear shapes. This process involves letting the watered-down paint run its course, conforming itself to its own rhythm and the laws of gravity, as if it had a life of its own.
